Use the air fryer to easily bake golden brown, delicious oatmeal. Topped fruit or chocolate chips, this Air Fryer Baked Oatmeal makes a healthy, filling breakfast or snack.
Baked Oats in Air Fryer
Making a hearty, tasty breakfast for the whole family has never been easier! Just bake oatmeal in the air fryer for a golden brown top and perfectly cooked oats throughout.
You can do so many variations on this recipe! Serve plain or top with diced fruit, chocolate chips, or honey drizzle. You could even add a dollop of vanilla Greek yogurt for added protein and fiber. Yum!
I like to prep this oatmeal before the kiddos get up. Then it cooks while everyone is getting ready for the day. By the time we sit down for breakfast, it’s ready to be served. There’s something about a warm breakfast that just feels like home.
Plus it keeps you full all morning long. With hearty quick oats, it’s a healthy breakfast that stays with you. So important on busy weekdays.

How To Make Air Fryer Baked Oatmeal
Start by cracking an egg into a medium bowl and whisking it up. Add oatmeal and milk to bowl and give everything a stir.
Next add one cup of sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
Spray baking pan with nonstick spray. Spoon oatmeal into baking pan. Press on top to make a smooth surface.
Using a trivet with handles (you can also use a spatula for removal), place pan into air fryer basket. Set at 300 degrees for 25 minutes.
Once oatmeal is baked, remove pan from basket using trivet (and oven mitts) or spatula. Cut into oatmeal and serve with whichever toppings you love. Oatmeal will be golden brown on top and perfectly cooked throughout.

Nothing beats homemade syrup. We love this Orange Sugar Syrup to drizzle on our oatmeal. Delicious with chocolate chips! Or really go for it with Candied Orange Peel made in the instant pot.
