BBQ Pork Chops in the Air Fryer

How To Make Air Fryer BBQ Pork Chops
It’s important to spray the basket with nonstick spray or brush it with oil, in preparation for the pork chops. You will add the bbq sauce at the end, to avoid a sticky mess in your air fryer.
Next, season the pork chops. You can use any season you like, this recipe calls for salt and pepper. Be sure to rub in the seasonings and flip over to season both sides of the pork chops.
Place pork chops in basket of air fryer. Cook at 400 degrees for 8 minutes, flipping the pork chops halfway through cooking time.
Brush tops of pork chops with bbq sauce, then cook at 400 degrees for 2 minutes. Flip pork chops over, brush additional sauce on top of pork chops and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
At this point, you’ll want to check the internal temperature of the pork to make sure the chops are fully cooked. They should register at least 145 degrees with meat thermometer. If not, place the basket back in the air fryer for a few more minutes of cooking.
Use a spatula to remove from air fryer basket and place on serving plate.

i have a convection air fryer, but tweaked recipe a bit, 6 boneless chops, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder….olive oil on the chops before seasoning them, cooked at 400 for 5 minutes, flip, another 5 minutes, take out and put sauce on both side (i have racks, not a basket) and cook for another 4 minutes…OMG. juicy, tender and tasty!
