Air Fryer Roasted Cherry Tomatoes
Cherry tomatoes are one of my favorite snacks to have on hand. I love to use use them fresh in some of my salads but I also love to roast them in the oven. So, I decided to give them a try in the air fryer and WOW! They are so tasty.
The heat from the air fryer causes the cherry tomatoes to wilt just a little bit and become extremely juicy. They end up looking amazing and you could only imagine the way they taste. You’re really missing out if you’ve never tried cooking tomatoes this way!
Even better, this air fryer recipe only takes 5 ingredients to make: cherry tomatoes, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper!
That’s all you need!
If you don’t have an air fryer, no worries! You can easily turn this recipe around and make your own oven-roasted cherry tomatoes instead. They are just as delicious ? If you are on the market for an air fryer, click here for the model I recommend.
How To Air Fry Cherry Tomatoes
Before you start cooking, make sure to wash all of the tomatoes and pat them dry.
Cut each of the cherry tomatoes in half and put them in a bowl.
Drizzle in the olive oil and add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to cherry tomatoes. Toss everything really well to coat evenly.
Transfer the cherry tomatoes to the bottom of the air fryer basket. Cook them in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Carefully remove the roasted cherry tomatoes from the air fryer and add them to a serving bowl.
Cooking Tips
- If you’re worried about making a mess in the air fryer or want minimal cleanup, you can lay a piece of parchment paper at the bottom of the air fryer.
- If you aren’t able to find any Italian seasoning, you can sub it out for some dried oregano or rosemary.
What To Serve With Roasted Cherry Tomatoes
These roasted cherry tomatoes make the perfect addition to any meal or appetizer. Even better, they are low-carb and keto-friendly!
Or, if you don’t care about carb counting, try this! One of my favorite ways to serve this veggie is by taking a slice of toasted baguette or crostini with a goat cheese spread and add these roasted cherry tomatoes on tops with some basil. It’s the perfect homemade bruschetta done in 10 minutes.
You can also cook the tomatoes according to the instructions and then top it off with some shaved parmesan. YUM!
