Air Fryer Fingerling Potatoes

We love an easy side dish in the air fryer! And this one couldn’t be simpler– just season and cook. You can use any seasonings you love on potatoes. And with the different colors of fingerling potatoes, there’s plenty of variety in this side dish.

Just season the potatoes and pop into the air fryer. The oil on the outside of the potatoes will crisp the skin right up, while the insides cook perfectly. It’s super easy to cook these potatoes in the air fryer while you work on other side dishes or the main course.

How To Make Fingerling Potatoes in Air Fryer

Prep potatoes by washing them. There is no need to peel them, as the skin is thin and edible.

Place in medium-sized bowl and season. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle on salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Use a spoon to coat potatoes evenly in seasoning.

Add seasoned potatoes to air fryer basket. Cook at 400 degrees for 25 minutes, pausing halfway through cooking time to shake up potatoes. Simply hold basket by handle and shake potatoes inside.

Once potatoes are done cooking, lay out onto serving plate or bowl. The skin will be crispy and seasoned with a tender, fluffy potato inside.

Cooking Tips

  • Cooking the potatoes in oil is completely optional, although it does make the skin crispier. You can use olive or any vegetable oil.
  • Be sure arrange potatoes in a single layer in air fryer basket to cook evenly
