Forget the toaster- Start cooking up your frozen waffles in the air fryer! In a few minutes you will have perfectly toasted waffles ready to eat at any time of the day!
Air Fryer Frozen Waffles
I LOVE waffles!
I love them for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. They’re just so yummy!
Lately, instead of pulling out my toaster or sticking my frozen waffles into the microwave (not the best option in my opinion), I’ve been cooking my frozen waffles in the air fryer. I have to admit- they turn out amazing every single time!

By cooking them in the air fryer, you end up with perfectly toasted waffles that are still nice and soft on the inside. No more overcooked or slightly defrosted waffles for me.
How To Cook Frozen Waffles In The Air Fryer
To make this recipe, all you need are your favorite frozen waffles! I personally love blueberry waffles while my husband is all about chocolate chips.
This recipe is SO simple. It takes two simple steps to cook up your Eggo waffles!
Simply take the frozen waffles out of the freezer and place them in the air fryer basket.
Cook the frozen waffles in the air fryer at 360F for 6 minutes, flipping the waffles over halfway through the cooking time.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Cooking Tip:
- This recipe works great with ANY kind of waffle. I simply am using Eggo waffles because that is what we eat in our house. You can easily swap it out for gluten-free or keto waffles.
What To Serve With Air Fried Waffles
If I am in a hurry and it’s a busy morning, I like to simply drizzle some maple syrup and add a dollop of sugar-free whipped cream over the top of them.
Want to make a full-blown breakfast meal? Besides the air fried waffles, here are a few dish ideas to serve with them:
As a special treat for breakfast (or dessert), I like to spread a layer of my homemade chocolate hazelnut spread or chunky peanut butter over my waffle. So yummy and chocolatey!
One of these days, I want to make a batch of fried chicken and serve it on top of the waffles for a fun spin on brunch for dinner. Do you like chicken and waffles? Let me know in the comments down below!
