How To Make Air Fryer Impossible Burgers
Simply open up the package of Impossible Burgers and add them to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Close up air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Halfway through cooking time, open up air fryer and use spatula to flip the burgers over. This helps them to cook up more evenly, but it’s a totally optional step.
When cooking time is up, check the burgers for doneness. They should register at least 160 degrees on a meat thermometer. If not, replace the air fryer basket and cook for another few minutes.
If the burgers are done, use a spatula to move them to a preparation surface. Now you can add them to buns and top with your favorite condiments.
Cooking Tips
- No need to thaw burgers if they are frozen, just add 5 minutes to the cooking time. Otherwise, cooking instructions stay the same
- Be sure to peel any packaging paper off the burgers prior to cooking
- Use a spatula when adding patties to the air fryer as they can fall apart easily before they are cooked
How Long Do You Cook An Impossible Burger In The Air Fryer?
If they are frozen, there is no need to thaw, just place them directly in air fryer to cook at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. If they are straight out of the refrigerator, they will cook at the same temperature for just 10 minutes.
