In fact, you can make poached eggs in an air fryer in just 10 minutes. You just need some silicone baking cups, nonstick cooking spray, and water. That’s it! No extra oil or fat is added. And let’s face it, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as dipping into a perfectly runny yolk!
So grab your air fryer and get ready to kickstart your mornings with this air fryer poached egg recipe!
How To Make Air Fryer Poached Eggs
Making poached eggs has never been easier! But you will need some silicone baking cups along with an air fryer.
To begin, spray your silicone cups with nonstick cooking spray. You need to do this to make sure that the eggs don’t stick. You could also brush the cups with a bit of vegetable oil too.
Cooking Tips
- Adjust the time: If you like your poached eggs more done, leave them in the air fryer to cook for an extra minute.
- Use Baking Cups – For the best results use silicone baking cups. Yet, you can also use well-greased ramekins.
- Cook and serve – Poached eggs are best eaten immediately, but leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days.
What To Serve With Air Fryer Poached Eggs
For a super easy breakfast, you can serve these beauties with a simple side of Air Fried Toast and crispy Air Fryer Bacon! Or better yet, on top of some Air Fried English Muffins with a bit of freshly cracked black pepper and a side of Instant Pot Steamed Spinach. Now that’s a healthy breakfast!
But don’t forget poached eggs aren’t just a breakfast food! They are wonderful when used to top salads like my Arugula Salad with Burrata and Figs or my Chicken Salad. You can even serve them over Sauteed Asparagus at a dinner party!
