Air Fryer Carrots And Potatoes
You can’t go wrong with serving a nice side of potatoes and carrots with any meal. They are not only comforting and filling but also affordable to make as well as healthy too. Especially when they are roasted because just like my other Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes recipe, this one doesn’t require much added oil.
So these air fryer potatoes and carrots are sure to become one of your new favorite sides. You don’t even need to turn the oven on and cleanup is an absolute breeze. All you have to do is toss the veggies with a touch of oil and seasoning, then pop them in the air fryer to cook, and serve! It’s that effortless, which makes this a fantastic recipe for when you are in a pinch.
I typically serve this dish with homestyle meals like a nice juicy Eye of Round Roast, but air fryer potatoes and carrots can be served with anything you like! You can also add any seasoning you like to season the potatoes and use as much oil as you prefer.
How To Roast Potatoes And Carrots In Air Fryer
This simple recipe for roasted potatoes and carrots in the air fryer is really easy! And you only need a few basic ingredients and an air fryer. This is what you will need:
- Potatoes
- Carrots
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Black Pepper
To begin, wash the potatoes and carrots. Then peel the carrots if needed and the potatoes if you like. I like to leave the skin on my potatoes, but it’s totally a personal preference. Now, cut the potatoes into large chunks and put them in a bowl. Do the same with the carrots if needed and add them to the cut potatoes.
Next, drizzle the potatoes and carrots with olive oil. You can also use any type of vegetable oil and as much or little oil as you like. Then sprinkle the veggies with salt and pepper to season. Now, toss everything together to fully coat.
Once the air fryer potatoes and carrots are done, transfer them to your serving dish of choice to enjoy with your favorite meal!

Your wonderful (and simple) recipes have encouraged me to use my air fryer more. I have a maintenance question. How do you keep your air fryer so clean? Your basket is spotless. Do you have a cleaning technique to recommend? Cleaning the basket is a 30-minute task for me with the end result being less than picture-perfect. If there’s a quicker, more effective procedure, I’d welcome the knowledge. Again, thank you for your excellent recipes.
I just wash the basket with a sponge and Dawn dish soap. If the dirt doesn’t come off, fill the basket with hot water and some dish soap and soak overnight, then try washing it again. Good luck!
