Sliced Potatoes Cooked In The Air Fryer
Air fryer sliced potatoes are like homemade crispy chips right from your kitchen! Making them is as easy as pie. You start by slicing up your potatoes nice and thin—like thin coins. Then, you toss them in a bit of oil and sprinkle some salt and your favorite seasonings. Next, pop those potato slices into the air fryer.
The hot air does its magic, crisping up the edges while keeping the insides tender. In no time, you’ve got yourself a batch of golden, crunchy potato slices ready to munch on. They’re perfect for snacking while watching your favorite show or as a yummy side for any meal.

How To Make Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes
Wash the potatoes and peel them. Then slice into thin rounds.
Add the potato slices to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Drizzle with oil and top with seasonings. We chose salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Use a large spoon and toss the potato slices to coat them in the oil and seasonings.
Add seasoned potato slices to the air fryer basket. Close up air fryer. Heat at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Halfway through cooking time, open up the air fryer and use a spatula to flip over the potato slices and redistribute them. Then replace the basket in the air fryer.
When potatoes are done cooking, use a spatula to move them from the air fryer basket to a serving bowl.
Cooking Tips
- Cooking with olive oil helps the potato slices to become crispy.
- Use any seasonings you like on potatoes.
- As much as possible, try to spread the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. This helps the slices to cook more evenly.
- To see if the potatoes are cooked to your liking, try one. Depending on your air fryer, they may need a few more minutes to crisp up.
