How To Make Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla to a mixing bowl. Crack one egg in as well.
Stir up the mixture until blended.
Next add flour, baking soda, and salt and stir again until you have a blended dough.
Now it’s time to add the chocolate and caramel chips. Gently stir both into the dough, leaving behind about a Tablespoon of each to top the dough balls.
Use a spoon and your hands to shape and place about 11 balls of dough on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Then press the remaining chocolate and caramel chips onto the cookie dough balls. This makes a better presentation when the cookies are done baking.
Place cookies in oven for 11 minutes. Cookies may look underdone at this point, but they will solidify during the cooling time.
Remove cookies from oven and lay out to cool for 30 minutes.
Use a knife to separate any cookies that baked together. And now they’re ready to enjoy!
