The air fryer is perfect for cooking Checkers seasoned fries! Just imagine biting into yummy crunchy seasoned fries just like you get in restaurants. Air frying frozen fries is really easy and a total game changer!
All you have to do is toss the frozen fries into the air fryer, cook for 15 minutes, and just like that you have amazing ready to eat crispy hot fries! No peeling potatoes, no dealing with oil, and no deep fryer. You don’t even have to turn your oven on. It doesn’t get any simpler than that!
How to Cook Frozen Fries in the Air Fryer
This recipe only requires one ingredient! All you need is a package of frozen Checkers seasoned fries. That’s it!
Then to make the fries, open the package of Checkers frozen fries and pour them into the air fryer basket. The fries must be frozen to properly cook. Thawed fries will not work.
Next, put the basket filled with the frozen fries into the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Then halfway through cooking remove the basket and shake it to toss the fries around. This will ensure even cooking and crispiness. Now, put the basket back into the air fryer to finish cooking.
Once the fries are done, remove them from the air fryer and place on your dish of choice!
These air fried Checkers seasoned fries are amazing on their own, but also super yummy with ketchup of course as well as homemade buffalo sauce or homemade BBQ sauce.
Will Other Brands of Frozen Fries Work?
Yes! Any brand of frozen fries can be used! This recipe is for the Checkers brand seasoned fries, but any brand of frozen plain or seasoned fries will work. So if you can’t find the Checkers brand don’t worry just follow the directions below using the same time and temperature and your fries will come out perfect! In fact, here is my recipe for plain air fried frozen fries.
How to Store and Reheat Air Fried Frozen Fries
Air fryer frozen fries will keep in the fridge for up to one week when stored in a container. To reheat, just put them in the microwave for about 3 minutes on medium power or in the oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit for about 10 minutes. If reheating in the oven you will want to flip them over halfway for the best results.
