This baked salmon is so healthy and delicious!  “Creamy” is usually synonymous with unhealthy, but in this case the creamy sauce is super healthy! The sauce for the salmon is made with Greek yogurt, fresh dill, garlic and lemon juice – doesn’t get any healthier than that! And it tastes amazing!

How To Make Easy Baked Salmon

Making this yummy salmon is super easy and takes just 20 minutes from start to finish!  The reason why the salmon cooks so quickly is that we are baking it at a high oven temperature of 425F! The higher the temp, the quicker it cooks :)

Salmon fillets are completely cooked at 425F in 15 minutes!  This quick and easy salmon recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner!

Baked Salmon

Rub the salmon with chili powder and put in the oven to bake.  While the salmon is in the oven, make the sauce. Proper time management is always key!  First put the salmon in the oven to bake, then use the free time to make the sauce.  When the salmon comes out of the oven in 15 minutes, the creamy garlic yogurt sauce will be ready to be served with the salmon!

Making the creamy garlic yogurt sauce is as easy as simply mixing the ingredients in a cup.  Mix Greek yogurt, chopped dill, minced garlic and fresh lemon juice, and your healthy creamy sauce is ready – yum!

This amazing baked salmon with creamy garlic sauce is so healthy and delicious! This creamy sauce is made with Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic and fresh dill - what a perfect clean eating recipe! The whole dinner is ready in 20 minutes - perfect for weeknights!

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 small container 5 oz plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 lemon squeezed
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 bunch fresh dill finely chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Rub the salmon fillets with salt and chili powder. Put salmon on a baking sheet, put in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • While the salmon is baking, make the creamy sauce: in a bowl combine Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic and fresh dill.
  • Remove baked salmon from the oven, put on plates and pour the creamy yogurt sauce over the salmon.
