This baked salmon is so healthy and delicious! “Creamy” is usually synonymous with unhealthy, but in this case the creamy sauce is super healthy! The sauce for the salmon is made with Greek yogurt, fresh dill, garlic and lemon juice – doesn’t get any healthier than that! And it tastes amazing!
Making this yummy salmon is super easy and takes just 20 minutes from start to finish! The reason why the salmon cooks so quickly is that we are baking it at a high oven temperature of 425F! The higher the temp, the quicker it cooks :)
Salmon fillets are completely cooked at 425F in 15 minutes! This quick and easy salmon recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner!
Rub the salmon with chili powder and put in the oven to bake. While the salmon is in the oven, make the sauce. Proper time management is always key! First put the salmon in the oven to bake, then use the free time to make the sauce. When the salmon comes out of the oven in 15 minutes, the creamy garlic yogurt sauce will be ready to be served with the salmon!
Making the creamy garlic yogurt sauce is as easy as simply mixing the ingredients in a cup. Mix Greek yogurt, chopped dill, minced garlic and fresh lemon juice, and your healthy creamy sauce is ready – yum!
