Denny’s Restaurant Review (Highland Park, IL, Chicago Suburbs)

Denny’s is an American diner restaurant chain with locations all over the US.  We often go to Denny’s in a Northern Chicago Suburb of Highland Park.  In this Denny’s, kids eat free after 4pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays – we have 3 kids, so Denny’s “kids eat free” promotion really saves a lot of money!  Many other Denny’s locations also have “kids eat free” days, just call your local Denny’s location for details.

Denny’s restaurant has a variety of traditional American food.  It has great breakfast meals like pancakes, eggs, french toast and waffles, different kinds of burgers, sandwiches and also dinner entrees like chicken, steak and fish. At Denny’s, you get good tasty food.

Denny’s is a great place for kids with extensive kids menu.  Here’s the photo of the kids menu – the writing is hard to read on this photo, but you can see the pictures of the yummy foods that kids can order!

At Denny’s, kids can order pancakes, chicken nuggets, cheeseburger, grilled cheese, mac and cheese and pizza.  These meals come with any of the following sides: goldfish crackers, garden salad, veggies with dip, apple slices, vanilla yogurt, mashed potatoes, grapes or french fries.

Here’s the Belgian Waffle from Denny’s – yum!  This huge waffle is served with maple syrup and whipped cream on the side.

Denny’s also has excellent desserts.  Here’s the Denny’s brownie a la mode – serve with the ice cream and chocolate sauce.  It was outstanding!
