How To Make French Toast Without Milk

Heat griddle to 375 degrees (see notes for cooking on a stovetop). Meanwhile, mix up your batter. Crack 2 eggs into a mixing bowl. Whisk them up, then add water, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir until combined.

Add about 2 Tablespoons of butter to the griddle and use a spatula to coat the cooking surface in melted butter.

Dip bread into egg mixture, on both sides. Lay bread slices onto griddle. This recipe makes 4 slices of french toast.

Cook for 4 minutes or until side on griddle is browned. Flip french toast over to other side and cook for 3 minutes or until done.

Use spatula to move the french toast to a serving plate. Be sure to turn off the griddle.

  • You can use a griddle OR frying pan for this recipe. If using a frying pan, heat to med-high heat and use one tablespoon of butter for cooking
