How to Make Frozen Salmon Burgers in Air Fryer
This recipe is ridiculously easy! You only need a package of frozen salmon burgers and an air fryer! Then how you serve the burgers is totally up to you.
First, place the frozen salmon burgers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. The burgers need to be fully frozen for them to air fry properly, so do not let them defrost.
Then put the air fryer basket into the air fryer and cook the salmon burgers at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes. For this recipe, it’s not necessary to flip the burgers halfway through cooking, but you can if you like.
Once the burgers are done cooking, remove them from the basket and assemble them to your liking with all your favorite toppings and condiments between a fresh toasted bun.
How to Store Salmon Burgers
Cooked salmon burgers will keep in the fridge for about 2 days when covered or put in a container. You can also freeze leftovers for about 2 months when wrapped well in plastic or put in a sealed freezer bag.
How to Reheat Salmon Burgers
To reheat leftovers, just put the burgers on a sheet pan in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 minutes. You can also pop them in the microwave for about 2 minutes at medium power. To reheat from frozen, just place the frozen air fried salmon burgers on a sheet pan and bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes or until warm.
Can You Use Any Brand of Frozen Salmon Burgers?
Yes, any brand of salmon burgers will cook perfectly in the air fryer.
Do You Have To Defrost The Burgers?
No, the burgers do not need to be defrosted. In fact, they must be fully frozen for them to air fry properly.
