 Cooking Tips

  1. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken is fully cooked. The thickest part of the leg quarters should reach a minimum temperature of at least 165°F (74°C).
  2. For an extra layer of texture and flavor, you can put the cooked chicken under the broiler for about 5 minutes to crisp up the skin.
  3. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. This helps redistribute the juices within the meat, which helps to keep the meat tender and juicy.
  4. Feel free to double the recipe. The cooking time is the same.
  5. Don’t be afraid to experiment and use any spices you prefer. Whether it’s a smoky BBQ rub, a zesty lemon-pepper blend, or a spicy Cajun seasoning, this recipe is extremely versatile.
