Purple Cauliflower In Air Fryer Recipe
If you’ve never had purple cauliflower before, you might be curious about what sets it apart from the classic version we’re all familiar with. The answer lies in its striking color, a result of anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants that not only contribute to its visual appeal but also boost its health benefits. However, when it comes to taste and texture, purple cauliflower is essentially identical.
And much like my Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower, this air fryer purple cauliflower recipe is incredibly quick and easy! In just 15 minutes, you can create a vibrant and delectable side dish that looks as good as it tastes. So, whether you’re watching your carb intake or looking for a healthy side dish, this roasted purple cauliflower in air fryer does not disappoint!

How To Make Purple Cauliflower In Air Fryer
This air fryer cauliflower recipe may look stunning but it doesn’t require any fancy ingredients!
- Purple Cauliflower: This vibrant veggie is the key ingredient. If purple cauliflower isn’t available, you can always use white cauliflower.
- Olive Oil: Adds flavor and enhances the cauliflower’s roasting process. Feel free to use vegetable oil if you prefer.
- Garlic powder: Adds a subtle touch of garlic flavor. Feel free to use any other spices you like.
- Salt and Black Pepper: Used to season the purple cauliflower.
Start by cutting the purple cauliflower into florets and placing them in a large bowl.
Then drizzle the cut cauliflower with olive oil and sprinkle it with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to your liking. Now, toss everything together until the florets are fully coated. Then transfer the seasoned cauliflower florets into the air fryer basket.
Next, slide the basket into the air fryer and cook the cauliflower at 380°F for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. If it’s not as tender as you’d like after 15 minutes of air frying, give it another minute or two.
Once it’s done, remove the cauliflower from the air fryer and serve to enjoy! It’s delicious with a little parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes!
How To Store
Leftover purple cauliflower in air fryer will keep for up to 5 days in an airtight container. You can also freeze it for up to 3 months and then reheat it once it thaws out.
