Red Lobster Restaurant Review

When I’m craving crab and lobster, I like to go to Red Lobster restaurant. Red Lobster has the best deal on crab legs and lobster tails! Whenever I go anywhere else for crab and lobster, I end up with smaller portion, poorer quality crab legs, smaller lobster tails and higher bill :)
My favorite thing to order at Red Lobster is “The Ultimate Feast”. Red Lobster’s Ultimate Feast is a combo of snow crab legs, lobster tail, fried shrimp and shrimp scampi. It surely is a feast! Like all Red Lobster’s dinners, the Ultimate Feast also comes with a salad and a side dish. The price of the Ultimate Feast is $27.75, and if you want BOTH lobster tail and crab legs, it’s the cheapest option from Red Lobster’s menu.
Here’s the photo of the Ultimate Feast from Red Lobster. I’ve had broccoli for the side dish. There is also a cup with melted butter for dipping crab and lobster, and the shrimp cocktail sauce for dipping the shrimp.
Another one of my favorite lobster dinners is the 1 1/2 lbs of snow crab legs. The price of 1 lb of snow crab legs dinner at Red Lobster is $19.50, and 1 1/2 lbs of snow crab legs is $25.

Red Lobster is also famous for their biscuits. Red Lobster biscuits are brought out the first thing, before the rest of the food arrives. They smell so good! They are warm, flakey and full of flavor. Many people wonder about Red Lobster biscuits calories :) The amount of calories in Red Lobster biscuits is actually not as bad as I thought – each Red Lobster biscuit has 150 calories and 8 grams of fat.

Red Lobster dinners come with a choice of Cesar salad or Garden salad. Here’s the Cesar salad from Red Lobster:

Red Lobster has great mixed drinks. I’ve tried their Margarita and Strawberry Daiquiri, and they were so good! You can also ask for non-alcoholic versions of those drinks, like non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri.
This time I got a plain iced tea :)
Here are some pictures of Red Lobster drinks from their menu:
Red Lobster also has great desserts! I often get their key lime pie – it tastes so lemony and refreshing!
This time I was too stuffed for dessert after eating the whole Ultimate Feast :) I didn’t get dessert, but took some pictures from the dessert menu.

Red Lobster is a chain, and there are many Red Lobster restaurants all over the US. I’ve tried several different Red Lobster locations, and everything was virtually identical.
In Chicago area, I often go to Red Lobster in Schaumburg (west suburb of Chicago) and Lincolnwood (north suburb of Chicago). The Red Lobster in Schaumburg is located at 800 East Golf Road Schaumburg, IL 60173, 847-843-2743. The Red Lobster in Lincolnwood is located at 3301 West Touhy Avenue Lincolnwood, IL 60712, (847) 674-0238.
I love lobster and it is so expensive over here. Next I must remember to visit this place when I’m in the US.
