Air Fryer Roasted Plums
Plain or topped with sweet syrups, these roasted plums are mouth-watering delicious. We kept it simple for this recipe, but you can also top the plums with maple syrup, honey, or cinnamon sugar for an extra treat. They’re so good with ice cream or yogurt!
The air fryer is perfect for roasting plums. They develop a delicious caramelized flavor and cook up in no time! Just slice into quarters and heat up in the air fryer. You can cook them while prepping other side dishes. Or even prep them in advance and serve over breakfast foods or as a warmed side at dinner. Yum!

How To Make Roasted Plums In Air Fryer
First prep the plums. Slice them in half and remove the pits. Discard pits.
Slice the plums into quarters for even cooking.
Add plums to air fryer basket. Cook at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Halfway through cooking time- pause the air fryer, open the basket, and shake the plums to reposition them. Replace basket in air fryer and continue cooking.
If, after 15 minutes, the plums are not cooked enough to your liking, add another 5 minutes in the air fryer.
Once plums are done cooking, remove air fryer basket and move plums to a serving plate.
Cooking Tips
- Before cooking, you can add more flavor and sweetness by drizzling maple syrup or honey on top. Cinnamon and sugar will also add to the natural sweetness of the plums
- Be sure to flip plums over at the halfway point to cook more evenly
- If the plums begin to burn before they are fully cooked, you can turn the heat down to 330 degrees
