Salad Recipe With Tomatoes, Cucumbers And Green Spring Onions (Scallions)

This yummy healthy salad consists of chopped tomatoes, cucumbers and green onions. Green onions (also called spring onions or scallions) give this salad a kick! Green onions add a crunchy, zesty and spicy taste to this healthy colorful salad.
Most people are used to eating salads made with regular onions, and spring onions are an unexpected pungent ingredient. Even though green onions are very common vegetables, for some reason they are not commonly added to salads. Well, it’s time for a change! Add green onions to your salad once, and you’ll want to do it again and again.
Salad Ingredients:
2 tomatoes
1 cucumber
2 stalks of green onions (scallions)
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions How To Make The Salad With Tomatoes, Cucumbers And Green Spring Onions (Scallions):
Chop the tomatoes. Peel and chop the cucumbers. Chop the green spring onions (both green and white parts) into very small pieces.
Put all chopped vegetables in a bowl. Whisk olive oil and vinegar in a cup to make a dressing. Add the dressing to the vegetables and mix. Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy eating your healthy salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and green onions!
