How To Make Sausage Quiche

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Then it’s time to cook the sausage. Heat a nonstick frying pan to high heat. Add sausage to the pan.

Once the sausage starts sizzling, use a spatula to break it up into pieces. While sausage cooks, peel and chop up onion.

Add onion to the pan with the sausage (both ingredients take the same amount of time to cook). Mix everything up and turn heat down to medium high.

Cook until meat is done and onion is tender, about 10 minutes total. (If ingredients start to burn before cooking time is up, turn down heat to medium)

ingredients for Sausage Quiche

Add shredded cheese to pan and turn off the heat. The warmth of the sausage will melt the cheese. Stir to combine ingredients.

Now it’s time to prep the 9″ pie pan. Spray with nonstick cooking spray. Then roll out the pie crust and press in to fit.

Add sausage filling and use spatula to level out in pie pan.

Whisk up eggs in a small bowl or liquid measuring cup. Add half and half and whisk again.

Pour egg mixture over sausage filling. Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes. Then allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
