Sautéed Frozen Vegetables Recipe
Did you know that you can saute frozen vegetables? Well, you can and it’s not only super easy but delicious too! You don’t even have to defrost them first. And I find that when vegetables are cooked from frozen they stay nice and crisp. It’s also a great way to save money and eat veggies that may be out of season.
But what I really love the most about this recipe is both how the frozen vegetables cook perfectly in the frying pan and the combination of seasonings. I decided to use soy sauce in place of salt and then added a bit of garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Of course, you can omit the pepper flakes if you prefer but I like the extra touch of heat.
The sauteed frozen vegetables work fantastically well as a healthy side dish served with your favorite mains. Yet, you can also add some chicken or beef and turn the veggies into a complete meal with a side of rice. Also, feel free to use any type of frozen vegetables and add any additional seasonings you like. They are also delicious with a side of my Sweet and Spicy Sriracha Sauce.
