Hands down best salmon we’ve both ever had… anywhere. Not even a fancy restaurant can compare. So simple with a sophisticated flavor and truly melts in your mouth. I will use this recipe again and again. King salmon happened to be on sale and maybe that helps with the wow factor. Thanks for yet another great recipe.
I was given some gorgeous salmon, frozen, from the Northwest. This was from an elite river rafting company, so I know that it is of good quality. My problem is that it is extremely salty. I have thought of soaking each filet in milk for 8 hours or so. Do you have any other suggestions?
Put the salmon in a pot of cold water, and refrigerate overnight, the water should draw out some of the salt. Also, you can serve it with creamy yogurt sauce, it dillutes the salty flavor as well.
