Turkey Meatballs With Pasta And Healthy Cole Slaw For Dinner

Meatballs and cole slaw are both very popular foods, and both meatballs and cole slaw are often thought of as being unhealthy. Meatballs are often made out of fatty heavy meat, and cole slaw is usually loaded with very caloric mayo. However, there are ways to make a healthier version of almost any food. My healthy version of meatballs is turkey meatballs that are made with lean turkey meat, and the healthy version of cole slaw is the light cole slaw without mayo.
Turkey Meatballs
In this easy recipe, healthy meatballs are made out of lean turkey meat mixed with minced onion and whole wheat bread crumbs. The meatballs are browned and then simmered in a convenient store-bought pasta sauce. These healthy meatballs taste delicious – they are so juicy and tender! Please see my easy healthy turkey meatballs recipe.
Cole Slaw Without Mayo
This healthy cole slaw recipe uses shredded cabbage and shredded carrots that are dressed with a healthy dressing instead of fattening mayo. The healthy coleslaw dressing is olive oil and lime juice! This cole slaw tastes so light and refreshing – you won’t even miss the mayo! Please see healthy cole slaw recipe without mayo.
These meatballs look like something that my family would love and enjoy. Enjoy the quinoa cookies, they were delicious!
