Spray the basket with nonstick spray or brush it with oil, in preparation for the pork chops.
Season the pork chops. You can use any season you like, this recipe calls for salt and pepper. Be sure to rub in the seasonings and flip over to season both sides of the pork chops.
Place pork chops in basket of air fryer. Cook at 400 degrees for 8 minutes, flipping the pork chops halfway through cooking time.
Brush tops of pork chops with bbq sauce, then cook at 400 degrees for 2 minutes.
Flip pork chops over, brush additional sauce on top of pork chops and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Check the internal temperature of the pork to make sure the chops are fully cooked. They should register at least 145 degrees with meat thermometer. If not, place the basket back in the air fryer for a few more minutes of cooking.
Use a spatula to remove from air fryer basket and place on serving plate.
