Pull out the air fryer and cook up some delicious and tender flounder for dinner! This Air Fryer Flounder Fish is an easy recipe for fresh or frozen flounder. Add any seasonings you love on fish.
1tspnonstick cooking sprayor brush bottom of air fryer basket with vegetable oil
2flounder filletsfresh or frozen
1/2tspsalt
1/8tsppepper
1/4tspgarlic powder
Instructions
First prep the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. This is important so the fish doesn't stick to the basket while cooking.
Lay out 2 flounder fillets and top with seasonings.
Place in air fryer and heat at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Thicker fillets may require a longer cooking time. To check doneness, use a meat thermometer to be sure the flounder is at least 145 degrees in the center of the fillet. If not, cook in air fryer for another 5 minutes.
Once fish is done cooking, remove from air fryer with a spatula. Place on serving dish.

This recipe works for fresh or frozen flounder. No need to defrost, although you may need to add a few minutes of cooking time for a frozen fillet
