Preheat your oven to 425 and lined a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lay out salmon fillets on a preparatory surface, like a cutting board.
Slice off the very ends of the lemon and use them to squeeze lemon juice onto the fillets. Cut the rest of the lemon into slices. You'll use them in a minute.
Drizzle olive oil onto salmon and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic seasoning. Rub the seasonings in. Then flip the salmon over and season again.
Flip the salmon over and place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Lay 2 slices of lemon on each fillet.
Place salmon in oven and bake for 13 minutes. Meat thermometer should register at least 145 degrees. If you prefer your salmon to be more rare, then cut back on the baking time by a couple of minutes.
Once salmon is done, remove from oven and use a spatula to place salmon on a serving dish.

Notes
For this recipe, you can cook fillets or big pieces of sockeye salmon (instructions are the same)
Remove any seeds before placing lemon slices on fish fillets
If you keep the skin on, it's optional to season both sides. If you remove the skin, then definitely sprinkle seasonings on both sides
