This Brioche French Toast is soft on the inside and crunchy golden brown on the edges. You'll love it so much it'll be the only french toast recipe you'll need!
Preheat the griddle to 375 degrees (or put a frying pan on med-high heat) and add a few tablespoons of butter to the surface.
While the butter is melting, mix up the batter in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
At this point, use a spatula to spread the melted butter around the cooking surface.
Then dip each slice of bread into the batter, on both sides. Lay out slices on griddle. The batter will make about 7 slices of french toast. If you are using a frying pan, you'll cook each slice individually.
After about 4 minutes, flip each slice over on the griddle. Cook for another 3 minutes, until the other side is golden brown on the edges, and remove all french toast slices from griddle.
Turn off griddle or stove top and serve french toast.
