chicken broth
6 cups

low sodium soy sauce
or regular if you prefer

tsp
ground ginger
1/4
garlic powder

dumplings
frozen, any variety- wontons, pot stickers, etc (mini wontons work well in this soup)

green onions
fresh, chopped
Instructions
Start by pouring a 48 oz container of chicken broth into a soup pot. Add soy sauce, ground ginger, and garlic powder to the broth.
Heat soup to high so it'll start boiling. Add the wontons to the pot and boil them for 5 minutes.
Ladle the soup into bowls and top with fresh, chopped green onions.
Allow the soup to cool for a few minutes, then enjoy!

Notes
Use any type of frozen dumplings. We prefer mini wontons as they cook well in this soup.
We use low sodium soy sauce in this recipe, as the chicken broth already contains salt, but feel free to use regular soy sauce if you prefer it
If you are unsure as to whether the dumplings are cooked through, you can slice one in half to check
