You'll love the grilled flavor of this classic cookout side dish! Use aluminum foil to wrap up Grilled Carrots that turn out perfectly tender every time.
Start by preheating the grill. Close the lid so the grill heats up faster.
Pour a little oil in a small dish and use a pastry brush to coat the carrots in oil. Then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Flip carrots over and coat in oil and seasonings again.
Wrap each carrot in foil and tuck in the ends. Double-check that there are no holes in the foil packets before placing them on the grill.
Reduce heat to low and add carrots to grill. Close the lid and cook carrots for 10 minutes.
Open up grill and flip carrots over. Close lid and cook for another 10 minutes.
Now it's time to check the carrots for doneness. Open the grill and use tongs to take one carrot packet off of the grill. Use oven mitts to open up the packet. Pierce the carrot with a fork to check for tenderness. If it is cooked to your liking, turn off the grill and remove the remaining foil packets.
