This Iced Green Tea is such an easy recipe and so refreshing! With or without sweetener, it's a delicious iced beverage that goes well with any meal or snack.
Fill a kettle with 8 cups of water and set to boil.
Once the water is at a rolling boil (or an electric kettle registers 200 degrees), remove from heat and place 8 green tea bags inside. Use a spoon or heat-safe spatula to push the tea bags down in the kettle and ensure that they are submerged.
Steep tea for 15 minutes, then remove tea bags. At this point, if you choose to use sweetener, you would add it in now. Stir in 1 cup of sugar for 8 cups of water. You can also try artificial sweetener or honey to taste. Stir to incorporate into tea.
Next fill a glass with ice.
Pour green tea over ice and add any lemon slices or garnishes to you wish to include.
