This Instant Pot Bone In Pork Chops recipe makes juicy, tender meat that is perfectly seasoned. You’ll love how easy it is to cook flavorful pork chops in the pressure cooker.
Prep pressure cooker by pouring in a cup of water.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika onto both sides of pork. Note you’ll be over-seasoning the meat, since some of the seasonings end up in the water. Rub seasonings onto pork.
Add pork to pressure cooker, right in the water. Close lid and seal the valve. Press pressure cook button and set to 10 minutes on high pressure.
When time is up, naturally release the steam for another 10 minutes. Then carefully quick release the steam. Once pin drops, open the lid. You can remove the pork with tongs and place on a serving platter or plate.
If you decide to make gravy as well, press “cancel” on the pressure cooker. Add a brown gravy packet to the seasoned water in the pot. Use a whisk to mix the powder into the liquid.
Then press the sauté button. As soon as the liquid starts bubbling, whisk constantly for another minute or until you reach your desired consistency.
Press “cancel” again and pour gravy out into bowl or gravy boat. You can also spoon over pork or serve alongside.
