This Microwave Steamed Spinach is a great low-carb, healthy side dish you can make in minutes. Just add water and microwave for perfected steamed spinach that you can season to your liking.
Pour 1 Tablespoon of water into a microwave-safe dish.
Add enough spinach to fill the container (or however much you wish to cook). Place lid on container.
Microwave for 1 minute. Open container and check spinach. If needed, heat spinach for a few more seconds.
Once spinach is tender to your liking, add seasonings. We recommend salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Use a fork or spoon to mix cooked spinach with seasonings.

Since the spinach cooks down (shrinks), be sure to add plenty of fresh spinach to the microwave dish
