This Sautéed Celery is a great side dish on its own or delicious when mixed in a stir fry. It adds so much texture and flavor! You'll love how tender yet crisp the celery cooks up in a skillet.
Start by washing and chopping up 2 cups of celery.
Drizzle the frying pan with oil and add the celery. Turn the heat to high.
Once the celery and oil start sizzling, turn down the heat to medium high and stir up the celery.
Cook for about 10 minutes (stirring every minute) or until the celery is tender to your liking. If, at any point, the celery starts to burn before it is done cooking, just turn down the heat.
Now that the celery is cooked, it's time to season it. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then mix everything together to coat the celery in seasonings.
Turn off the heat and use a spatula to move the celery to a serving plate or bowl.

Notes
Use as much or as little cooking oil as you prefer, it is just for flavor
Olive oil is used in this recipes, but you could also use coconut oil or butter for cooking
Season celery after it cooks, as it shrinks during the cooking process
