1tspolive oilcan sub with vegetable oil, coconut oil, or butter
Instructions
Season the pork chops. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
Add olive oil to a pan and turn heat on high.
Add pork chops and wait for the oil to start to sizzle.
Once the pan has reached high heat, turn heat down to medium-high and cook pork for 5 minutes.
Next, flip the pork chops over and reduce heat to medium. Cook for another 5 minutes or until pork registers 160 degrees on a meat thermometer. Depending on the thickness of the meat, the pork may need an additional few minutes to cook completely.
After pork is done cooking, turn off heat and use tongs to move pork from the skillet to a serving plate. If you would like, spoon the cooking liquid onto the pork as a light gravy.
Wait 3 minutes for pork to "rest", then dig in!

Notes
You do not need much oil if you're using a nonstick pan, just about a teaspoon for flavor
Be sure to rub the seasonings into the pork to help them stick better during the cooking process
If while cooking, the pork starts to brown too fast or burn, simply turn down the heat or flip the chops to the other side
