This delicious Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf is about to be a new family favorite! The recipe uses stuffing mix instead of breadcrumbs for a boost of home-cooked flavor.
1/2cupketchup(divided- use half to top meatloaf) or BBQ sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
Add ground beef, eggs, stuffing mix, water, and ketchup to a mixing bowl. Use a spoon to break up the meat and mix everything together. This will take a few minutes.
Once meatloaf mixture is ready, use your hands to shape it into a loaf and lay it on top of the parchment paper-lined cooking sheet.
Use a spoon or pastry brush to coat the top of the meatloaf in ketchup.
Place cooking sheet in oven and bake for 50 minutes. When the meatloaf is done, the middle should register at least 160 degrees with a meat thermometer.
Pull meatloaf out of the oven and set it to rest on the countertop for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
